Browsing this site

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not build visitor profiles. The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes technical request data such as your IP address to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.

When you email us

If you write to us, we use your name, email address and message to reply, and we keep the conversation so we can follow up. Our email is handled by Cloudflare, Google and Resend on our behalf. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering you. We delete correspondence we no longer need.

When you send us your board or an idea

If you send us your board or suggest a bit, we keep your email address, your name if you give it, and what you sent (the bits and colours on your board, or your idea) so we can reply. If you tick the box asking to hear when the bits are ready, we also keep that choice and when you made it, and we email you about that and nothing else; untick it any time by emailing us. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in replying to you, and your consent for the updates. We review these messages by hand and delete them within twelve months of our last reply, or sooner if you ask. To keep bots out we count how many sends come from one connection within an hour; for that hour we keep a salted hash of the address, not the address itself, and then it is gone.

Orders

We are not taking orders yet. Before we do, this notice will explain what we need to make and deliver an order, who processes payments, and how long we keep order records.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of your data, and ask us to correct or delete it, or to stop using it. Email us and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
